As part of Americans for Public Trust’s Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit against the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the agency was forced to unredact emails that revealed previously unknown details about her meeting with parents discussing school reopening guidelines.
The now unredacted emails show the “parents” invited to join CDC Director Walensky were involved with far-left groups and even employed/ running groups like: Stand With Trans, MomsRising, & Little Lobbyists – not your average parent with concerns for getting children back into the classroom.
One of the nonprofits, MomsRising, was a direct recipient of the liberal dark money operation funded by foreign billionaire Hansjorg Wyss, who has funded millions of dollars’ worth to Democratic causes. Another parent worked for a coalition of Sixteen Thirty Fund – one of the nonprofits managed by Arabella Advisors.
These newly released emails reinforce the shadow of pure partisan influence over government officials when they were crafting and implementing Covid-19 policy for school reopening protocols.
“Since taking the reins of the CDC, Dr. Walensky has prioritized everything but following the science. First, she colluded with the teachers’ unions to keep our schools closed, and now we learn that her ‘parent’ meeting was nothing more than placating the demands of liberal activists from dark money groups. Maybe if the CDC spent less time appeasing activists and unions, kids could have returned to school faster and wouldn’t be facing devastating losses in learning,” said Caitlin Sutherland, Executive Director of Americans for Public Trust.
