Indiana Senate Unanimously Passes a Ban on Foreign Funding of Ballot Issues

Today, the Indiana Senate unanimously voted to ban foreign money from influencing public questions.

Today, the Indiana Senate unanimously voted to ban foreign money from influencing public questions. House Bill 1467, sponsored for state Representative Tim Wesco, is a commonsense measure to prevent foreign nationals and foreign governments from making a contribution in connection with a public question.  The legislation previously passed the State House of 92-4, and now the bill will head to Governor Braun’s desk for his consideration!
