Today, the Arkansas Senate Agencies and Government Affairs Committee unanimously advanced House Bill 1837. The bill is now eligible for a vote on the Senate floor.

HB 1837, sponsored by Representative Mindy McAlindon and Senator Kim Hammer, is a straightforward measure that bans foreign nationals and foreign governments from funding state ballot measure campaigns.
